Platis Gialos is separated from Makris by a rock cluster. Its features are very similar to those of Long, while access to it is even easier as parking is near the beach. The conifers that surround Platis gialos give a turquoise shade to its waters. While Makris Gialos is the beach that youngsters prefer, Platis is one of the most popular beaches for locals, and more families are frequented.
