Antisamos

Antisamos is the most popular beach of Sami, pebbled with emerald waters due to the green hillside with holly and cypress surrounding it. Situated in a deep bay overlooking Ithaca, it stretches over long lengths and is quite windy. Its waters deepen rapidly, as in most beaches in northern Kefalonia. It is an organized beach that has a blue flag and has umbrellas, deck chairs and two beach bars, while access is very easy with a secured street and very comfortable parking. In the summer, beach parties and concerts are often held there.

In the area of Antisamos is the monastery of Panagia in Agrilia, as well as the ruined Monastery of Saint Fanedon.
